Paul serves as Managing Director for Heritage Group, a venture capital firm sponsored by some of the nation’s leading healthcare organizations. Prior to joining Heritage, Mr. Wallace served as a Venture Partner for SV Life Sciences, a $2 billion international private equity firm investing exclusively in health care. He also spent six years leading corporate development for Healthways, Inc. (NASDAQ: HWAY), during which time the company’s revenue increased more than five-fold. Prior to joining Healthways, Mr. Wallace was a General Partner of Petra Capital Partners, a $120 million private equity investment firm in Nashville, TN. From 1997 – 2001, he was a founding member and Managing Director with New York-based Gilbert Global Equity Partners, a $1.2 billion global private equity fund. Prior to GGEP, Mr. Wallace was a Vice President with Lazard Asia Investment Management, a Singapore-based $250 million private equity fund. Early in his career, he served as an Associate with Golder, Thoma, Cressey, Rauner (GTCR), a $4 billion private equity firm based in Chicago. He received his MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management and his BA from the University of Richmond. He is a native of Nashville, where he resides with his wife and three children.
