Mike was key in making TomTom’s original portable navigation device the fastest-selling consumer technology device in history – selling one million units faster than the smartphone. Since, he has dedicated more than 15 years to leading the development of new TomTom products to maintain and grow drivers’ trust. Mike joined TomTom in 2005. He launched TomTom’s Belgian entity and was soon promoted to manage Northern, Central and Eastern Europe. He became SVP of Sales for TomTom’s Consumer business in 2015 and accelerated digital transformation, becoming Managing Director of TomTom Consumer in 2017. In 2021, Mike also took the helm of TomTom’s Enterprise business. Since January 2023, Mike is TomTom’s Chief Revenue Officer and leads the global commercial strategy for Automotive, Enterprise and Consumer. Alongside his work at TomTom, Mike advises several startups throughout Europe. Prior to TomTom, he worked in commercial roles for KPN-Orange and Samsung. Mike is a Belgian national, based in Amsterdam. He has a degree in business management with a specialization in marketing.
