Mark Howard's Biography

Mark Howard (London) joined KKR in 2011 and is the Chief Compliance Officer for International Markets. In his role, he is primarily responsible for the compliance programme in Europe and the Middle East and has global responsibility for KKR’s Anti-Corruption efforts. Mr. Howard is a member of the British Venture Capital Associations Regulatory Committee. Before joining KKR, Mr. Howard was head of european compliance for Capital Group where he covered the institutional investment management and the European funds platforms. Prior to that, he was the head of international compliance for the Prudential-Bache group in Europe and Asia focusing on the group’s wealth management, global derivatives and equity sales businesses. Before joining Prudential-Bache, Mr. Howard served in the British Royal Navy and served on a number of warships.
