John Post's Biography

As Chief Executive Officer of Alert Logic, John Post brings more than 25 years of executive experience with a demonstrated track record of leading and scaling SaaS companies in the cybersecurity industry. He joined Alert Logic in 2020 as CFO and was named CEO in January 2021. Prior to Alert Logic, John held sequential roles of CFO at Webroot, and then General Manager of Webroot, a Carbonite Company, and COO of Carbonite, following Carbonite’s acquisition of Webroot in 2019. He was an integral part of growing Webroot’s business from $120M to $240M+ in revenue, enhancing its financial profile and leading the organization through two acquisition-related integrations. John holds a JD from the University of Colorado, School of Law and a BA in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
