Jen Frisch is senior vice president, Partner Resources, for U.S. Retail, Licensed Stores and Operations Services. Jen is responsible for providing human resources support for more than 180,000 partners in our U.S. company-operated stores, our U.S., Latin America and Caribbean Licensed Stores, and our Global Operations team. In her role, Jen is in charge of driving organizational effectiveness, building partner capabilities and developing leaders to meet our strategic goals. She and her team are excited to help create the best jobs in retail where partners feel uplifted, challenged and supported to be their very best. Since joining Starbucks in 2007, Jen has provided Partner Resources leadership to numerous teams across the organization. She is passionate about inspiring and leading teams through the lens of our Mission and Values. Jen began her Starbucks journey as a member of the Foodservice leadership team supporting sales and operations teams across the United States. She transitioned to lead the talent strategy for the Marketing and Category organizations during the rapid growth of product innovation, digital marketing and social media platforms. Jen was excited to join the Retail organization in 2012 when she had the opportunity to support our Retail store partners in the Pacific Northwest and Western Mountain Regions as well as our North Division Licensed Stores. After the acquisition of Teavana, Jen led partner resources for the Teavana organization, supporting partners across the United States and Canada as we welcomed them into the Starbucks family. Prior to her most recent role, Jen led the partner resources teams across our Marketing, Product, Technology and Strategy teams. She is excited to return to Retail to support our U.S. store partners. Prior to Starbucks, Jen held HR leadership positions at Medtronic Inc. and Fairview Health Services. Jen holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Arts in Human Resources/Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She resides in Seattle and takes full advantage of all the Pacific Northwest has to offer. She enjoys hiking, discovering new Seattle restaurants, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers. Jen’s go-to beverage is a Narina 70 Cold Brew in the summer and a Clover-brewed coffee in the colder months. Sun-dried coffees are at the top of her list of favorites.
