Iman AbbasiChief Human Resources OfficerIman Abbasi serves as Chief Human Resources Officer for Symbotic.  In her role, she is responsible for leading the overall human resources strategy, leadership development, talent acquisition, diversity and inclusion, organizational design, cultural development, compensation and benefits, HR operations and technology and employee relations.  She joined Symbotic in 2019 and has been spearheading the growth and scalability of the business through establishing key talent and processes across the organization which support the company goals.Her work is driven by her business philosophy that HR professionals are business professionals who think through business implications which are driving the business strategically and long term.  She has a strong sense of collaboration, strategic vision and organizational alignment that will help the business focus on scaling.Prior to joining Symbotic, Iman led the HR function of the Insurance business within RELX that grew to more than $1Billion in revenue.  She also led over 20 mergers and acquisitions and integrations throughout her tenure at RELX and Reuters which helped drive strategic initiatives and growth.  In addition, she led the offshoring of more than 2,000 employees to Bangalore, helping create a center of excellence for operations; improving quality and reducing cost.  Iman received many companywide recognitions for her strategic focus and delivery of results.  She also held strategic leadership roles at Bank of New York and Midlantic Bank.Iman has a bachelor’s in psychology from Montclair State University and graduated cum laude.
