Bob DoucetteChief Operating OfficerBob Doucette serves as Chief Operating Officer at Symbotic.  In his role, he is responsible for leading the scale-up of Symbotic’s operational capability which includes the functions of customer site operations, operations engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, strategic partnerships, quality, project management and field deployment engineering.  He joined Symbotic in 2021.Bob has over 25+ years of experience in executive leadership roles including COO, Sr. VP/EVP of Global Operations for high growth technology companies both venture funded and public. Most recently, Bob led global operations and logistics for Amazon Robotics and scaled all operational capability to support deployment of amazon robotics equipment to 20-25 domestic and international fulfillment centers annually. At Amazon Robotics, Bob was responsible for the functions including manufacturing, supply chain, corporate quality, global logistics, field deployment engineering, regulatory & compliance, corporate IT/business systems, operations engineering and corporate facilities. In addition, for Amazon, he led worldwide strategic sourcing for fulfillment center automation equipment. He was responsible for $3B+ allocation of spend for emerging automation & robotics technologies.  Bob was a member of the KIVA leadership team at time of Amazon’s acquisition of KIVA in 2012. His executive leadership experience in industries includes robotics, industrial automation, eCommerce, B2B, lithium ion battery technology, beverage, telecommunications, capital equipment, contract manufacturing and IT/data communications. He has a proven track record in leading global operations within successful hyper growth start-up companies as well large multinational enterprises. Bob has a BS in Management from Lesley University.
