Chairman of Raytheon Company from August 1999 until his retirement in January 2004 and Chief Executive Officer from December 1998 to July 2003. Mr. Burnham joined Raytheon Company as President and Chief Operating Officer in July 1998. He is a director of a number of small start up firms. Mr. Burnham is a Trustee of the Logistics Management Institute and a Member of The Business Council. He is past Chairman of the President's National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee, the National Minority Supplier Development Council and Aerospace Industries Association.
